It's hard to believe it’s been a year already – but so happy to see Megan, Alicia, Hannah, Susie and Katy celebrating their First Anniversary of moving into the Third Rainbow House! With support, our lovely tenants prepared a buffet and made a cake to celebrate this special occasion with their parents, friends and some of us from Rainbow Living - a very happy celebration!

Hannah took part in the Jubilee Challenge, an event incorporated within the Ten Tors Challenge but designed specifically for young people with special needs. Hannah received 2 medals, one for completing the 11 mile cross country route and the other celebrating 40 years of the Jubilee Challenge – go Hannah!!

Very proud of Susie who has now opened her own bank account! It is so good to hear that Susie is is being supported to manage her finances and further develop key life skills like this – well done Susie.

Katy getting into the Christmas spirit!

We are very proud of Megan and her amazing achievements and transition in moving into our Third Rainbow House. And a BIG shout out to WESC Foundation for providing Megan with this invaluable support - thank you, you all do an absolutely fantastic job for so many local youngsters! #IndependentSupportedLiving #LifeSkills

Delighted to hear that Alicia has started a supported internship programme and is also attending Petroc College two days a week. Since moving into the house, Alicia has become more independent and now travels to college unsupported, which is a real achievement as it is two separate bus journeys, taking two hours each way, in an area Alicia does not know very well! This is really great to hear Alicia - we are very proud of your fantastic progress!
