Rainbow Living is a Devon-based charity with a strong Christian ethos.

Rainbow Living is a volunteer-led charity that provides safe, supported housing for adults with learning disabilities across Devon. We create homes where individuals can thrive, grow in independence, and feel part of a vibrant community.

In December 2019, Rainbow Living changed its legal entity and became a charitable company limited by guarantee and the charity number changed to 1181195.  We are now registered with the Charity Commission as Rainbow Living SW, though we will still trade as Rainbow Living; these changes do not affect our work, nor will they have any impact on our future aims and aspirations.

Looking Ahead: Strengthening Roots and Building Resilience

As we move through 2025, Rainbow Living is focused on strengthening our foundations and building long-term resilience, both within our organisation and the communities we support.

This journey has been shaped by key leadership milestones, including the appointment of our new Chair, Abbie Furnival, in 2025, who's vision is helping to guide our strategic direction. In September 2025, we welcomed Leandra Sims as our Operations Manager bringing dedicated support across all areas of our work, from property management to community engagement.

Thanks to the unwavering commitment of our volunteers, donors, families and care providers, Rainbow Living is growing its presence not only within our homes but also across the wider community. Together, we are forging meaningful partnerships and creating safe, inclusive environments where our tenant's can thrive.

Together, we're laying the groundwork for a stronger, more connected future
