We were honoured to welcome so many tenants, family members, parents, supporters, directors, volunteers and care providers to our Annual General Meeting, which also marked Rainbow Living's 20th anniversary.
It was, without doubt, a very special evening and a wonderful opportunity to reflect on everything that has been achieved over the past two decades.
A special thank you goes to Abbie Furnival, who guided us through the year's achievements and recognised the dedication, commitment and hard work of our volunteers. We also took the opportunity to recognise John Airdrie for his unwavering commitment to the Rainbow Living House One extension project, helping to create a space that will continue to make a lasting difference to tenants lives. Special recognition was also given to Ruth Airdrie, whose nomination led to Rainbow Living receiving the King's Award for Voluntary Service, an honour we were proud to celebrate just a few weeks ago.
During the evening, we watched videos from each of our houses, giving everyone an opportunity to see how tenants are getting on and to celebrate the progress, achievements and everyday moments that make Rainbow Living such a special community.
We were also privileged to hear from our tenants, whose heartfelt contributions were a highlight of the evening. They spoke about their experiences, their journeys and what Rainbow Living has meant to them. Their stories reminded us why our work matters and the positive impact that safe, supportive housing can have on people's lives.
The evening concluded with tea, cake and plenty of conversation as old friends and new supporters came together to celebrate this important milestone. We also gathered for a group photograph to capture a memorable occasion in Rainbow Living's history.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so special. As we celebrate 20 years of Rainbow Living, we look forward to continuing to provide homes, opportunities and support for many years to come. Please watch Rainbow Living House Four's update Here
