We announced in March that we are moving forward with another Rainbow House in Exeter, as we have received continued demand for our services in the local area.

As a charity we are very excited to have the opportunity to support another group of young adults with learning and other disability, in what will be Rainbow Living’s fourth Rainbow House.

Fundraising for our current project – Rainbow House Four – is well underway. To raise the funds needed to purchase a fourth house, we are applying for grants and have set ourselves an ambitious target of £50,000 in local fundraising between now and April 2020.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and energy of loyal volunteers, and the generosity of many wonderful supporters, an incredible £18,000 has already been raised through local fundraising efforts! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has organised and taken part in events, and to everyone who has supported us by making a donation! As we are a volunteer-run charity, every single penny raised will go towards Rainbow House Four, and really will make a long and lasting difference to the lives of our future tenants.

We will be running fundraising events over the coming months, but if you would be interested in organising your own fundraising event, or if your workplace is seeking a new Charity of the Year, please do get in touch with us for a confidential chat.

At this stage, we are in discussion with prospective tenants who hope to make Rainbow House Four their home; as and when we can, we will share their stories so you get to know the people who your support will help, and how moving into a Rainbow House will positively benefit their own lives, as well as those of their wider families.

Make sure you come back to this page as we will update it with our progress!

As Trustees we are absolutely thrilled that we will be moving ahead with a fourth Rainbow House; we have a long journey ahead of us, but with the dedication and commitment of our amazing volunteers and supporters, we are looking forward to what lies ahead!
